Sustainable Design with Light in Residential Applications (Course ID #3001): 1 hr of education credit for AIA, A discussion of typical sources of residential lighting, the merits of each, technical aspects to be considered in design and the future trends in light sources. The seminar will also cover the manual and automat control strategies for electric light sources as well as daylight, which range from local to whole home control and integration. The benefits and design consideration of each of the control strategies will also be taken into account.
